Hi Everyone, my name is Danielle Lewis and I am an English Language Arts and Speech teacher. I have been in the education field for 7 years now and how the time does fly. I am currently working at an alternative high school where all of the students have been dropped from a Chicago Public high school but still want their diploma. I do not have any children but I have one dog named Ceviche. She is spoiled to death and I love her dearly.
Fact 1: I have 19 tattoos. I plan on getting more and view each and every one of them as special.
Fact 2: I just bought my own home a year and a half ago.
Fact 3: My dog Ceviche was named after a cartoon character on the show "Chowder".
Fact 4: I have 10 aunts and 7 uncles from the same parents.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course: The main information I want to get out of this course are ways to engage my students with new technology. I want to have a vast knowledge of outlets for students to let their creativity show. I also want to reach all students with technology. This will allow me to reach ESL and LD and BD students. I also think it will be fun to play with new technology.
My favorite game(s): MS. PACMAN...hands down!!! I know it is "old school", but classics never die. The new age game I play EVERYDAY is Brainage on my Nintendo DS.
Danielle, What a cute dog! (A girl, I assume from her pink accessories?) My husband and I are coming to CHI-town to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in a few weeks. I cannot wait! We are going to take the train down from Michigan.
And you are right the classics, NEVER die. Did you ever enjoy CENTIPEDE? :) Eboni
